Noelker and Hull Associates, Inc. recently celebrated the opening of a new 350-bed student residence hall at Mercy College’s Dobbs Ferry, NY, campus. The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the unveiling of Hudson Hall, the building name designated by the college community.

The project was developed in conjunction with Kirchhoff-Consigli Construction Management to provide much-needed student housing on campus. The new four-story, 100,000 sq. ft. building includes 18 six-bed suites, 57 four-bed suites, a 5,000 sq. ft. fitness center, student commons with a Starbucks Café and convenience store, large community meeting and lounge spaces, and student gathering and study areas.

The building also features sustainable design elements qualifying for NYSERDA financial incentives, including fixtures that promote water efficiency; recyclable, regionally-produced building materials; and modern lighting fixtures such as occupancy sensors.
