Recognizing a need for additional youth programs and technological services, Bosler Memorial Library initiated a plan to build a two-story addition and renovate the entire facility, doubling the community library’s space to 53,093 square feet. The original 1900 structure’s appearance was maintained and carried through the renovation in alignment with local historic district requirements. The modernized facility doubled the children’s department space, expanded the reference and periodicals reading area, created an inviting space for teens to gather and study, doubled the library’s meeting space, provides ample, comfortable seating for readers and improves access to high-speed internet systems, reference databases and wireless stations.
