Originally constructed with a small student café, the The Culinary Institute of America‘s Student Commons was expanded with a 475-seat dining hall and 25-seat private dining room. The addition takes advantage of the site located in Hyde Park, New York, on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River. An adjacent exterior terrace provides outdoor seating for 160. New production kitchen facilities serve up to eight different dining venues and provide the students with a variety of meal options. Students also have access to new fitness options with expanded space for aerobics, cardiovascular, and resistance training.
