The Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park, New York, is the oldest culinary college in the United States. The new admissions building consists of a two-story addition of approximately 12,600 square feet on each floor.

The new building efficiently combines the admissions, financial aid, and bursar’s offices and functions as a welcome point for new and prospective students. The building also features a 99-seat demonstration cooking theatre with 65-inch plasma screens with integrated video systems and state-of-the-art kitchen equipment. The entry lobby features a terrazzo floor and a spectacular elliptical staircase with a skylight as a dramatic interior focal point.
