Francis Scott Key Lincoln-Mercury occupied property that was extensively reconstructed to form a major intersection on the south side of Frederick, Maryland. The southernmost building of the complex was rebuilt to face in a new direction and the remaining buildings, including the service department, were built as new construction. The dealership was designed to comply with corporate standards for Lincoln-Mercury, Audi, Volvo, and Isuzu. Careful attention to design integration produced a harmonious composition that highlights the dealership’s prominent site.
