The Great Valley School District, in Malvern, Pennsylvania, replaced the K.D. Markley Elementary School by building adjacent to the existing facility on a 32-acre site shared with the district administration office. The school is designed to house kindergarten through fifth grade students in three learning centers organized around flexible classroom wings with central teaming and instructional spaces. The facility offers 25 standard classrooms, four special education classrooms, three half-time kindergarten classrooms, a separate cafeteria and gymnasium with stage, two music rooms, and an art room.
