This 24-bed residential memory support unit is an addition to the existing nursing facility of The Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mt. Vernon, Ohio.
The concept organizes eight resident households around a central core that is joined to create an “adjacency of spaces.” The bedrooms are designed to allow for maximum visibility for both residents and staff.
