Sherwood Oaks, a community near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, wanted to reposition its personal care memory support to be modeled on a “hybrid” small house concept. The two-story facility contains 15 resident rooms surrounding a central dining/living space on each level.

The resident rooms are unique in that the European bathroom is placed on the exterior wall with the sleeping area in the middle. Two seating areas are created with interior and exterior views.
