The Culinary Institute of America’s Student Housing Village includes 73 beds in each of the six buildings. Located in Hyde Park, New York, these new lodge-style structures fit comfortably in the rolling, wooded terrain at the north end of the campus. Gathering spaces on the first floor for dining, studying, and socializing are conveniently accessed from the main entry. The small footprint of the buildings was instrumental in creating this relaxed “fit” by minimizing site disruption and allowing the creation of a quiet, compact residential cluster with ample adjacent areas.
