The modifications of the Lancaster General Health’s Women and Babies Pavilion in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, were guided by the client’s recognition of hospitality and spa environment trends in the healthcare setting and the desire to refocus the campus on family-centered ideals.

The renovation incorporated a soft, glowing rainbow of color on the ceiling and surfaces that was implemented through the terrazzo, color, texture, and translucent glass tile. These innovative finishes positioned the hospital as a leading facility in women’s care and a benchmark for healthcare environments throughout the region.
