Noelker and Hull partnered with the Franklin County Commissioners to provide architectural and interior design services for renovations to the Franklin County Courthouse Annex. The 50,175 SF five-floor facility now accommodates offices for Domestic Relations, Adult Probation, Juvenile Probation, and the District Attorney. The project included creating shared conference rooms and a lower-level learning suite with kitchen and laundry facilities for Juvenile Probation. A new outdoor canopy was added to enhance the visibility of the entry. A security vestibule was installed in the lobby to improve safety and regulate traffic flow. Each department features colorful wayfinding indicators to aid in easy navigation. The Courthouse Annex renovation is a part of the multi-phase Court Facility Improvement Project.

This project, a collaboration between Noelker and Hull and the Franklin County Commissioners, included the construction of a new 106,456 SF Judicial Center, a new 35,349 SF Administration Building, renovations to the historic 23,466 SF County Courthouse, and renovations to the 5,761 SF property on Grant Street to provide space for the Franklin County Archives Building. Having originally designed the Courthouse Annex building in the early 1970s, Noelker and Hull comes full circle by leading this significant renovation, demonstrating our enduring commitment to the community and our expertise in creating functional and welcoming public spaces.
