To create a more contemporary and upscale environment for the senior living residents at National Lutheran Communities and Services, Noelker and Hull developed a comprehensive interior renovation master plan. Phase I focused on key resident amenities, including the main entrance lobby, reception area, library parlor, marketing office, Discovery Center, public restrooms, and corridors.

Previously dark and dated, the community center featured heavy reds, golds, creams, and dark wood tones. The new design introduces a clean, modern aesthetic with balanced proportions and a neutral palette of soft grays, taupes, and creams. Warm wood accents and vibrant artwork add depth and character.

This transformation blends transitional elegance with modern sophistication, creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere for residents.
