Noelker and Hull provided architectural and interior design services for the new 35,349-square-foot Franklin County Administration Building, located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

The Administration Building houses the County Commissioners’ suite, Tax Register/Recorder, Licensing/Treasurer, Planning, Controller, Purchasing, Human Resources, and IT departments. It also includes a 2,300-square-foot exterior courtyard for staff use/enjoyment, a micro-market, numerous conference and training rooms equipped with collaboration technology, and a public meeting room.

The Administration Building is part of the multi-faceted Franklin County Court Facility Improvement Project which focused on improving the safety and security of court and county buildings, collocating scattered county offices, and improving efficiency of court and county operations. The Franklin County Judicial Center (106,456 SF), the historic courthouse (23,466 SF), the Courthouse Annex (50,175 SF), and Archives offices and storage facilities (15,761 SF) were also part of this capital project.
