Adair ASID Task Force

In participation with a total of 25 plus interior designers, Adair Pagnotta, ASID, CHID, NCIDQ, director of hospitality and senior living interiors at Noelker and Hull Associates, Inc., was invited and selected to serve on American Society of Interior Designers’ (ASID) Adaptive Living Task Force. ASID’s Adaptive Living Task Force is staffed by national volunteer-expert professionals from around the building industry and beyond.

ASID formed the Task Force to study design issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This Task Force will study changes in adaptive and multigenerational family living resulting from challenges faced by nursing home and long-term care facilities during the COVID-19 Pandemic and beyond. The Task Force will also study best design practices for quarantining family members within the home/family living structure whether they are ill, a healthcare worker exposed to disease, a person with immune deficiencies, etc.

Focused on healthy building design, Adair’s interior projects promote comfort and wellness, using warm, inviting finishes in well-designed environments while centered on practical designs inspired by her clients’ needs. As a long-term member of ASID, she is honored to be a contributing member of the ASID Adaptive Living Task Force and is dedicated to sharing her experience and knowledge to strengthen the power of the design industry and its importance in the response to COVID-19, mitigate future pandemics, and improve current living environments.
