Noelker and Hull provided architectural and interior design services and furniture, fixtures, and equipment for the demolition of the existing 14,000-square-foot structure that housed the former pool and foodservice operations and the design of a new 29,877-square-foot addition to the existing 45,000-square-foot facility. This new LEED Gold facility includes a foodservice operation, kitchen, dining, coffee shop, and social spaces on the first floor and a seminar room, career center and leadership center, and student organization offices and work spaces on the second floor with a large atrium connecting the two floors. The building is open extended hours to encourage socializing, events and performances, and studying. The patio outside the dining area can be accessed by garage-style doors to allow students an indoor/outdoor eating experience.
