Geisinger developed a new 31,724 SF medical office building in Reedsville, Pennsylvania which includes a family practice, a “65 Forward” Senior Primary Care clinic, and a Caresite Pharmacy. The development of the project was undertaken using a fully collaborative Design/Build process. Noelker and Hull partnered with Mowery Construction, the construction manager, and the Geisinger development team to create the construction documents and assist with construction administration. Through this collaboration, Noelker and Hull utilized Geisnger’s own design standards and concepts to streamline the process for the development of the documents. Structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical services were provided through the same Design/Build process. Utilizing this process, the coordination between architectural and all associated trades is streamlined to eliminate wasted effort in the coordination of all infrastructure.
