This project aimed to reinvigorate the existing independent living community dining program and update the interior finishes throughout the community center and public spaces in the apartment wings. EverTrue (formerly Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries) sought to enhance dining options by adding five dining venues: The Vine & Fig, a formal dining restaurant; The Steel Valley Pub, a bar and grille; The Chromium Grille, featuring bistro-style dining; The Fuellenbach, a teaching kitchen offering private dining; and Common Grounds, a coffee shop and marketplace. The project was phased to accommodate the ongoing dining services throughout construction.
