The new 44,343-square-foot, 40-bed skilled care and rehabilitation center, located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, is a skilled nursing facility that features resident-centered care for long-term nursing and short-term rehabilitation patients. Noelker and Hull provided architectural and interior design services for the building that is comprised of two long-term care neighborhoods of 15 beds each and one neighborhood of 10 residents for short-term rehabilitation, which will also include a new therapy gym that will provide both in-patient and out-patient care. Each of the three neighborhoods contain private rooms and are centered around a social core with living, dining, and activity spaces.
